How do implants work?
Implant Dentures are the ideal solution to people who have lost all their dentition. They provide security and function for your dentures at the same time as preventing the bone loss in your jaws. There will be no more worries about having to wear adhesive to keep your dentures in place or worry that your dentures will move while you are eating or talking.
Implants are made of titanium, a bio compatible material. 2 or more implants are inserted into your jaw and the attachments above your gums will connect to your dentures preventing it from moving.
The dentures don’t need to rely on the surrounding tissues to be kept in place anymore. Furthermore, implants will help maintain your jaw bone. The ridges and bones in your mouth need stimulation to stay healthy and to be prevented from shrinking. Implants will do just that. They fuse to the bone maintaining its dimension and density.
You’ll get everything done by a specialized team who works close together and will look after you through the entire process. We will have temporary dentures ready for you after the implants are placed so you don’t have to go toothless for one single day.
